Privacy notice
This notice explains the information CallExhibit currently handles to provide subscriber calling, evidence records, account administration, and support.
CallExhibit stores account and call information because that is the product. Recording playback for operator support is off by default, and customers control access one specific call at a time.
Information we collect
We collect account details such as name, email address, time zone, plan, phone profiles, carrier, verification status, disclosure preferences, and outbound authentication settings. We also receive call numbers, names supplied by carriers, routing and SIP details, timestamps, durations, hangup information, recordings, integrity values, projects, tags, usage, retention, and delivery status.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate subscribers, route and connect calls, create evidence records, deliver account and call notifications, display usage, enforce retention, prevent loops and abuse, troubleshoot service, and maintain system security and reliability.
Who can access it
The customer can access information assigned to the account. Authorized operators can access account, call, routing, and system-health metadata needed to operate the service. An operator cannot play a recording unless the customer explicitly shares that specific call for support.
Service providers and carriers
Telephone carriers, SIP providers, hosting infrastructure, email delivery services, storage providers, and other processors may handle the minimum information needed to perform their role. CallExhibit does not sell call recordings or use them for advertising.
Retention and deletion
Recording retention depends on the selected plan, add-ons, legal holds, and displayed expiration date. Call metadata, account history, security logs, usage records, delivery receipts, and backups may remain longer when needed for billing history, integrity, fraud prevention, operations, or legal obligations.
Security and resilience
CallExhibit uses restricted service paths, authenticated subscriber configuration, access controls, and integrity records. No system can promise absolute security. Customers should use a unique password, protect phone PINs, and report unexpected account activity.
Your choices
You can manage phone profiles, disclosure preferences where available, projects, tags, per-call support playback, and account security settings. You may revoke a call's support access at any time. Requests concerning an account or retained data should be made through the support channel provided with the account so identity can be verified.
Children and sensitive use
CallExhibit is not directed to children. Do not use the service for calls involving protected or highly sensitive information unless you have determined that the calling, recording, storage, and access arrangements are appropriate and lawful.
Changes
This beta notice may change as storage, billing, authentication, and service providers are finalized. The updated date and material account notices will identify later versions.
